With this option you can page through images or search them based on the content of their captions. The search words are treated individually and any image containing any of the words in upper or lower case will be found.

When you upload an image, a thumbnailversion is created and stored along with the original image. A database entry is also created.
The thumbnails of the uploaded images are then displayed so that you can edit their captions. Captions should be suitable for finding the photo again, so they should even include things that are obvious from looking at the image.
It is possible for the tables to get out of line. For example, if you upload a full res image using FTP there will be no database entry or thumbnail. If you upload a replacement hi res image using FTP, the thumbnail will not have been updated. When you cull (see below) images, only the full res version is removed.
In all these cases, a 'Report' on the status of the system will reveal such issues. And you can easily fix these issues by clicking on 'Sync'. NOTE; Sync can take some time if there are a lot of thumbnails to create. If the Sync runs out of time (max 2 minutes) it will return stating the Sync was incomplete. You can simply run Sync again to complete the task.
This is purposely made convoluted ensuring you really do mean to delete the images.
First search for the images you may wish to delete. For each image, note down its id number (seen above the thumbnail). Then click on the cull tab and type the numbers into the window, separated by commas. Then click on 'Delete the listed photos'.
After you have doe this you will have to run a 'Sync'(see above) in order to complete the task.
First use the search photos facility to find the images you want to remove.
Next note the id number of each image to be removed.
Finally, type the numbers as a comma separated list in the box below.
IMPORTANT. This is not reversible!
Note that after deleting these images, you should click on the Status tab above and then run 'Sync'. This will remove the related database entry and thumbnail.
If you do not do this, the images will still appear in search results, but will yield an error if the user clicks on the image to see the full size version.
